Reed Buntings on the Bulrushes

Took a brief walk down Attenborough this morning. Not a great deal about and the water level was high, making it unlikely to see waders. I did see a pair of reed buntings attacking the bulrushes, not for nesting material but for food. These are two of the better shots. The male is the one with the darker face and the white moustache.
