Warblers & Whitethroats

The morning light gave me better views of sedge warblers at ANR today and I was pleased to see my first whitethroat of the season. Cetti’s warblers were around but elusive and I saw greylag goslings and a group of mallard ducklings. The bittern was booming again. Here are some sample pictures of the sedge warbler and whitethroat – I hope it’s obvious which is the whitethroat.
