I regularly see great crested grebe feeding young at Attenborough though they look big enough to fend for themselves at this time of year. I managed to catch this pair at the point of transfer of a small fish nicely illuminated in the soft evening light.
I was pleased to get a good view of a tree creeper – but unfortunately no good pictures. This little bird, as its name suggests, creeps up trees poking in crevices looking for food with its slightly downward curved sharp beak. I hope to get a clear shot one day.
