Made an early start today to take advantage of the unexpected blue sky. My patience was rewarded with views of a water rail, snipe and little egret from the Corbett (tower) hide from which I also saw a this reed bunting.
There was an unusual number of bullfinches in the hedgerows. I was please to get good shots of both male (left) and female specimens.
It makes a change to catch them in natural surroundings rather than on a feeder.
