This morning I was pleased to see a common tern quite close at Attenborough.
It was preening itself on a post near the visitor centre. You can see it has been ringed.
Breeding gulls have taken over the ridge and furrow field. The immature gulls are quite distinctive.
This Emerald Damselfly posed in the sun for a long time. I This was taken from a couple of metres away and the detail is pin sharp. I continue to be impressed with my camera’s performance.
