P.S. The weather turned nasty again over the weekend (you may have noticed) but one positive effect was more birds in the garden including an extended visit from a song thrush on Sunday 18th. I put out loads of food for my feathered friends – especially this little beauty.
On Friday 16th I photographed this peregrine falcon on the Newton Building of Nottingham Trent University (my old college) and I thought it was worth blogging. A pair regularly nest on this building but I have no up to date information about the current situation. It is possible that this is the male and the female is on the nest at the other end of the ledge but that may be premature speculation.
