Blackcap Pair at ANR

I could not resist an early morning walk around Attenborough today. It was a bit chilly but the warblers were very active i.e. Whitethroat, Sedge Warbler and Blackcap. I was particularly pleased to get clear shots of both the male and female Blackcap. You will notice that she has a brown cap and seems to be working the hardest to feed the young.

Another shot showed her with a beak-full of green caterpillars. Yummy!
