We had a short, chilly walk down the main path at ANR yesterday (15th) but most of the birds were keeping their heads down. I managed a couple of reasonable shots of a pair of bluetits on a coconut shell feeder and a male reed bunting was tempted by some seed scattered on a fence post.

I checked on the NTU peregrines before going to bed and found the pair of them snuggled together with their first egg visible in front of them. This is really good news. Let’s hope there are more and they all hatch.
In the morning the egg was being ignored but later one of the birds was brooding it.

Very enjoyable Ray
