This video of two mute swans doing some synchronised swimming was sent to me by a couple of good friends who follow beestonbirdman.blog. I understand that this behaviour is part of pair bonding or territorial establishment. I’ll leave the choice of appropriate musical accompaniment to your imagination. 🙂
The NTU peregrines have now produced two eggs which are being brooded here by one of the pair this morning (20th).
Is the swan on the left, the best man?
