I suppose I shouldn’t complain about the lack of much blue sky lately, it is December. As well as reminding myself of a favourite song by ELO 😎 I thought I would re-visit my archive for December 2019.

Two winter thrushes, fieldfare and redwing. They were here for the berries. Looking forward to seeing some of this year’s visitors.

Probably my best shots of a buzzard, both taken at Attenborough.

Male and female reed buntings at Attenborough Nature Reserve.

Clockwise from top left: Robin; Tree Sparrow; Slavonian Grebe; Male Goldeneye.
Love the tree sparrow!
